At Sebastian Mancuso's seventh birthday party, he and his friends ate cupcakes and played sports, but he didn't receive any gifts — at least not for himself.



"I asked my friends to bring supplies for the (Willowbrook) Wildlife Center," Sebastian said as he unpacked his parents' SUV on a recent Thursday, which was full of puppy chow, bedding,We are professional blu ray burner, pet toys and other supplies. "I like animals, so I looked up (Willowbrook's) wish list online."



As Sebastian dropped off supplies at the wildlife center, Naturalist Frank MacRae gave the Glen Ellyn resident — along with his parents and sister — a tour of the nature center's nursery and kitchen and showed him some of the animals.



"I learned how they eat, and I noticed that (the squirrels) are always active. I never noticed that before," Sebastian said.



According to Sebastian's mother, Carrie, the Glen Ellyn wildlife center is close to their home and on occasion they brought supplies over, but when Sebastian looked at the center's wish list before his May 6 birthday, he was surprised by how many items were needed.

According to MacRae, about 100 animals were brought to the center each day in May.



Sebastian's idea to use his birthday party to help the animals at the wildlife center inspired a few of his friends.



"One of my friends is collecting money for the World Wildlife Fund for his birthday and another one of my friends wants to do it, too,Full color oil paintings for sale printing and manufacturing services." Sebastian said. "I inspired my friends."



At age 7, Sebastian knows a lot about animals.

And according to Sebastian's father, Jack,We specialize in providing Air purifier. the family has to make a special stop when they go on vacation.



"Any city we visit we have to go to the zoo," Jack said.



However, the family doesn't have pets at home.



"We used to have a toad… I found it in my backyard," Sebastian said. "But we're going to get dog this summer… I'll do everything but clean up the poop."
